Strengthening your core using the Miracle Ball Method is fundamentally different from traditional abdominal exercises.
When people refer to the “core” of an apple, they mean the central part that exists within the whole apple. Similarly, think of the Earth’s core: it exists because of everything that surrounds it. Even when we talk about the “core principles” of a method, those principles are part of a broader system, with some standing out more than others.
Many people find it challenging to strengthen their core because it’s often explained as simply tightening one part of the body — the abdominal muscles. Although some can accomplish this, most struggle while straining many other parts of the body to find the core. It doesn’t work long term because the body works as a whole, and in turn you will have a strong core. No part works independent from the rest.
When you participate in the eight-week Miracle Ball Method series, you’ll learn to reinforce the foundational concepts of the Miracle Ball Method while exercising. Your body functions based on a neurological spark — that “pilot light” that’s always on, connecting your body to its entire system. Your core is not isolated but is integrated into the overall functioning of your body.
This perspective makes everything different — and, to me, more enjoyable and effective. Throughout the program, we’ll focus on oppositional stretches, helping you understand how using your arms and legs can support the activation of your core. As a result, your body will lengthen and avoid locking up.
Lengthen your muscles, don’t lock your joints.
By discovering key areas around your core, you’ll begin to activate it in a way that helps it function within the entire body. Think of it like stretching a rubber band: you can’t stretch it just by pulling on one side. You need something pulling in the opposite direction to create the elasticity and strength you desire.
When you engage your nervous system and allow your body to function as it was intended, you’ll notice an increase in confidence. This is because many areas of your body that typically experience excess muscle tension — like your lower back, neck, and shoulders — won’t be under constant strain. You’ll feel a sense of ease, and you’ll realize that strengthening your core is not about simply tightening one muscle. It’s a process that’s easier than you think, and it will help alleviate back pain, knee problems, and sciatic issues. These areas will no longer feel locked up; they’ll begin to lengthen and move freely. You will relieve your pain, reduce stress and yes, reshape your body.
